Medical Laser Safety
You may not know that the Care Standards Act requires any person or business using laser systems to:
- Display a Certificate of Registration with the Care Commission in Scotland
- Comply with the Regulations and Standards
- Be inspected by the Care Commission
- Safety and quality: Laser users must always put the client's safety first.
- Information: Laser users must provide clear and accurate information.
- Accountability: There must be an individual who will take responsibility for ensuring that regulations and standards are fulfilled.
- Consistency: A consistent standard of care must be provided.
